What you will do
- Build receptionists on ElevenLabs and Twilio that answer busy and out-of-hours calls, book the job and send a clear summary to the right person.
- Design call flows, tools and handoff rules for UK numbers, including the moment a person should take over.
- Connect every call to the rest of the business: CRM records, diary bookings, SMS confirmations and follow-up tasks.
- Tune latency, interruptions and tone until calls feel natural, and make sure callers always know they are speaking to an AI.
- Review real recordings, find where callers got stuck, and fix the flow rather than the script.
Must-haves
- You have shipped a voice agent that real callers used, and you can share a recording or walk us through the logs.
- Hands-on with ElevenLabs voice agents and Twilio, or close equivalents you can map across quickly.
- You debug from the recording and the logs, not from the happy-path script.
- You write the webhooks and integrations yourself, in TypeScript or Python, and handle timeouts, retries and failed transfers.
- You work remotely with dependable overlap on UK hours, when the calls happen.
Nice-to-haves
- UK telephony detail: number porting, SIP trunks, call recording and consent.
- Post-call automation: CRM updates, SMS fallbacks and missed-call text-backs.
- Experience with appointment-led businesses such as clinics, salons, trades or professional services.
